# Remote Work Friendly Rentals Canonical: https://www.cascadiagetaways.com/groups/remote-work-friendly-rentals There is a specific kind of dread that comes with taking a call from a rental. You've found somewhere beautiful, you've told your team you'll be online, and now you're standing in a hallway holding your laptop above your head. We built this collection for the people who can't afford that, the workaholics, those pushing the remote work boundaries, families stretching a trip into a longer stay, and anyone testing out Oregon before deciding to move here. Every home on this page has a real desk in a room with a door or a defined corner you can work from — not a kitchen island we've called a workspace. Several are set up for stays of a month or longer, with utilities included and a simple lease. What to expect: - A dedicated desk and a chair meant for eight hours, not eight minutes - Rooms where a video call doesn't broadcast the rest of the house - Wine country and coast locations, so the day ends somewhere worth walking Have any questions before you book? Message us and tell us what you actually need — upload speeds, a second monitor, a quiet room during school hours. We'd rather match you carefully than have you spend a week troubleshooting. ## Homes - [Neotsu Coastal Cottage: Monthly Coastal Retreat](https://www.cascadiagetaways.com/properties/neotsu-coastal-cottage.md) — 3 bedrooms · Sleeps 6 - [Creekside Hideaway - Wine Country by 3rd St](https://www.cascadiagetaways.com/properties/creekside-hideaway-wine-country-by-3rd-st-mcminnville.md) — 4 bedrooms · Sleeps 7 - [Anchor House - Ocean View Home with Lookout Tower](https://www.cascadiagetaways.com/properties/anchor-house-ocean-views-w-lookout-tower-pets-ok-neskowin.md) — 4 bedrooms · Sleeps 10 - [Latourette Estate Historic Retreat Chef Kitchen](https://www.cascadiagetaways.com/properties/latourette-estate-historic-retreat-chef-kitchen-mcminnville.md) — 4 bedrooms · Sleeps 8 - [Sand & Sea (104) Lewis & Clark](https://www.cascadiagetaways.com/properties/sand-sea-104-lewis-clark-lux-oceanfront-pool-seaside.md) — 2 bedrooms · Sleeps 6 - [Adventure Awaits - Wine country oasis w Cozy deck](https://www.cascadiagetaways.com/properties/adventure-awaits-wine-country-oasis-w-cozy-deck-carlton.md) — 2 bedrooms · Sleeps 4 - [Upcycled Oasis - McMinnville Couple Monthly Stay](https://www.cascadiagetaways.com/properties/upcycled-oasis-cozy-retreat-privacy-charm-mcminnville.md) — 1 bedrooms · Sleeps 2 - [Vogel Vacations-Large Group 5BR Hot Tub & Game Rm](https://www.cascadiagetaways.com/properties/two-acres-home-hot-tub-pool-table-and-game-room-damascus.md) — 5 bedrooms · Sleeps 17 - [Happy House - Near 3rd Street wine getaway](https://www.cascadiagetaways.com/properties/happy-house-near-3rd-street-wine-getaway-mcminnville.md) — 3 bedrooms · Sleeps 6 - [Chateau Relaxeau: Game Room Hot Tub Pet Friendly](https://www.cascadiagetaways.com/properties/chateau-relaxeau-game-room-hot-tub-pet-friendly-welches.md) — 4 bedrooms · Sleeps 11 - [Lolowood Chalet - Modern Mt. Ask us for the property you're considering and we'll give you a current number rather than an adjective. We're being deliberate here: most vacation-rental listings describe wifi as "high-speed" and almost none can back it. If you're going to be on video calls all week, that word isn't good enough and we know it. Message us with your dates and the home you're looking at, and we'll tell you what to expect — including if the answer is "not good enough for what you need." ### Is there a real desk, or a kitchen table? A real desk in every home on this page. Elk Ridge in Seaside goes furthest — a dedicated home office with a monitor and docking station. Creekside Hideaway in McMinnville has a proper office room with a desk and seating. Wild Haven Retreat's office even has a whiteboard to brainstorm or host a small corporate retreat. If a second monitor or a particular chair matters to you, ask — some of this we can arrange. ### Will I have cell service? It depends on the region and on your carrier, and we'll be specific rather than optimistic. Wine country and Oregon City homes generally have strong coverage on all major carriers. Our mountain properties are the ones to be careful about — we've deliberately kept some of them off this page. If you rely on your phone as a hotspot backup, tell us and we'll steer you. ### Can I take calls without the rest of the house hearing? In most of these, yes — that's part of why they're on the page.
