In spring and summer, there explore the fabulous biking and hiking trails, get a thrill with the Alpine Slide (0.4 miles), or cast your line in Trillium Lake (4.5 miles) for some trout. Mt. Hood Adventure (9 min walk) is always a great choice for families and groups, as it offers everything from Malibu race cars and zip lines, to a bungee tower and tree top walk.

Getting Around

You will need a vehicle to get to the lodge. From Nov-March you will need snow chains or 4 wheel drive with snow tires. If you attempt to drive up the mountain without either of these and have to call for help you will be fined by the local authorities for not having proper chains or tires on your vehicle. Driving on the mountain can be very dangerous without chains or 4 wheel drive/snow tire combo. There is transportation available from Government Camp up to Timberline and Meadow but you will have to investigate dates/times/pick up locations as they change frequently. I suggest doing an internet search if interested in advance of arrival as they book up fast.

Cancellation Terms: Fully refundable up to 30 days before check in, then booking becomes non refundable.
Payment Terms: 50% is due at booking and remainder 30 days before check in. If booking checks in less than 30 days 100% is due at booking.

"Stayed here with family that visited from California to see the snow. We all loved it. Great communication and service from the host. Would definitely stay here again! We loved how close we were to Timberline for a couple days of snowboarding!

"Overall the lodge was great. The entry is spacious. The mid floor layout is ambient and gives a very comfy vibe. The fireplace just makes the room even better. The kitchen is somewhat small but the dining room helps keep everyone out of the kitchen. The large dining room table is a life saver. The third level is a great hangout area to sit quietly while reading a book. There is no backyard really for the kids to play. The front yard is small but the kids were still able to enjoy the snow. Of course Snow Bunny is up the street and of course all the other ski resorts. The sauna and hot tub were great!

"Our large family with multiple generations, stayed here over Christmas week. The hosts response to questions/needs were quick and effective. The house provided all of our families with comfortable accommodations and separation. We appreciated the location close to town, hot tub, and infrared sauna!

"Our stay was amazing. Everyone in our party was happy, and constantly said how amazing the lodge was. It was perfect for our family/friends to get together to make memories. The rooms were comfortable, the layout was fantastic. There were some minor repairs that needed to be done during the stay, but the host was responsive and fixed them quickly. The stove knob for biggest burner was broken which was tough because we cooked alot, but everything else was fantastic! We would love to stay again.

"We were a group of 20 and the lodge absorbed us perfectly. The kitchen was well appointed for our large dinners each night. The location is great for quick access to hiking.

"House was clean and looked just like the pictures. Very spacious, it was able to accommodate 3 families and had something for everyone to do. Host responded to any of my questions in a timely manner and with a great attitude. It’s in a great location, lakes and activities are within a 20 minute drive from the lodge. I would definitely book again!
