What's the minimum stay for this collection?
These properties accept bookings of 28 nights or longer. Some also take shorter stays; a few are extended-stay only. Each property page shows its minimum.
How does pricing work for a month or longer?
Extended stays are priced differently from nightly rates — you're not paying peak weekend pricing across thirty days. Rates depend on the property, the season, and the length of stay, and longer bookings generally price better per night. Find the right property or properties for your stay and message us with your dates and we'll quote it. Some homes are priced to book as is.
Are utilities and wifi included?
Yes. Rates include utilities and wifi, with no setup fees or account transfers to arrange.
Are these homes furnished?
Fully. Kitchens are equipped, beds are made, and linens and towels are provided. These are the same homes we rent to vacation guests, so the standard is a furnished vacation home rather than a bare corporate apartment.
Which areas do you have extended stays in?
Currently in Willamette Valley wine country around McMinnville and Carlton , plus Mt Hood and the Oregon Coast . Inventory shifts seasonally, so ask us what's open for your dates.
Can I bring pets on a long stay?
Many extended-stay homes are pet friendly . Longer stays sometimes carry a different pet deposit, so we'll confirm the details when we quote your dates.
When is the best value for a long stay?
Winter is the value season across all three of our regions. Demand drops sharply from November through February, which is when extended stays price best and availability is widest.
Do you work with insurance temporary housing placements?
Yes. Displaced-family placements are a regular part of what we do, and we're used to working with adjusters and relocation coordinators on dates, documentation, and extensions when repairs run long. Reach out with your claim timeline and we'll tell you what's available.
Can you handle corporate billing and paperwork?
Message us before booking and we'll set up the paperwork on our end. We handle assignment stays regularly and can accommodate the documentation most companies need for expense reporting.
Is the wifi good enough to work from?
Every home has reliable high-speed wifi and somewhere real to work — a desk or a dedicated table, not a kitchen counter. If you're running video calls all day or need a specific setup, tell us and we'll match you to the right property.
We're thinking about moving here. Is a month a good way to test it?
It's one of the better ways to do it. A month in McMinnville, Portland, Rhododendron or Carlton tells you what the town actually feels like on a Tuesday, which neighborhoods you like, and how the commute works — none of which a weekend visit reveals.
Can I extend if my assignment or repair runs long?
Usually, yes — projects run long and repairs take longer than anyone estimates. Extensions depend on what's booked after you, so the earlier you flag it the better. We'd rather keep you in the same house than move you. The sooner you can let us know the better in case your home books. We often have other homes we can offer if that happens.

AirbnbThis was a great little spot! It's right off the main road so be careful when turning on and off the lot, but I had no issues with noise or anything. The hosts were super responsive and helpful, and there were a ton of awesome trails within a 30 min drive. Kitchen has most of the essentials for cooking and baking. Highly recommend!

Booked directThe Mountain Air Motel is a wonderful motor court located between Brightwood and Welches on Highway 26. "This place isn't the Taj Mahal," as the saying goes. IT'S BETTER. WHY? Let's start with the staff at Cascadia Getaways. My understanding is that they represent multiple properties in marketing and also serve property managers. They are BASED at Mountain Air Motel -- so they aren't going to offer an inferior product/service when they are on-site! Right? The unfortunate thing is, if you look at all the major review sites, such as Tripadvisor, you will see OLD REVIEWS PRIOR TO THE UNIT RENOVATION. They have nothing but rave reviews AFTER the complete overhaul! Now that you know that, go search for places to stay in the area leading up to Hood, and the prices are sky-high!!!! PLUS, most vacation rental places require multiple nights of stay. I used to LIVE in the area where Mountain Air is, and I know it very well. Trust me, you won't find nicer rooms at THIS PRICE anywhere in the Mount Hood area. We stayed in Unit 13, and the living room is large. You can see the amenities on the listing, and everything "worked." The HOTTEST water north of the Equator. lol. After a day of hiking or mountain biking, you will appreciate a good hot shower! The bed was comfortable, and I slept like a rock. There is more detail, but -- look -- I know that Cascadia, Airbnb, VRBO, and other local outfits sell places to stay, but if you are reading this, stop right now and book the dang place without looking any further. There isn't that pesky "cleaning fee" that tacks $$$ onto your bill. BYW ---- and as far as the Taj Mahal, you'd probably need to dress up. Happy travels in Hoodland. :-)
AirbnbThis home actually felt like a home, not another Airbnb rental where the owner stocked up on IKEA furniture. It was comfortable, very spacious, in a beautiful location, and was exactly what our group was looking for. The only down side was having to leave. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!
