A home earns its way in on finish level and how recently it was renovated — not on square footage, not on nightly rate, and not because it photographs well. Plenty of homes we love aren't here, and that's the point. Spanning Mt. Hood, the Oregon Coast, and Willamette Valley wine country. Cascadia Getaways is employee-owned and Oregon-based, with a local team that has been inside every one of these houses. What makes a home part of this collection?
Recent renovation and finish level, full stop. We look at when the kitchen and bathrooms were last done, the quality of the materials, and whether the furnishings were designed as a whole rather than assembled. Size and nightly rate don't factor in — some of our largest and most expensive homes aren't here.
Are these bigger than your other homes?
Not necessarily. The collection spans a range of sizes, because this is about how a home is finished rather than how many people it sleeps. If you need square footage, our large group and reunion rentals are organized around exactly that.
What should I expect in the kitchen?
Real cooking kitchens — full-size ranges, proper counter space, and equipment you can actually make a meal with. Several were built specifically for people who cook, which matters in wine country when the restaurants book out.
Is it worth the premium over a standard rental?
For a milestone trip, guests tell us the difference is obvious and worth it. For a practical weekend, our hot tub rentals and water view homes deliver much of the same experience for less.

The collection spans all three of our regions — Mt. Hood , the Oregon Coast , and Willamette Valley wine country . The list shifts as homes join our portfolio and as guest ratings move.
Do homes get added or removed?
Yes. As we take on new properties and as owners complete renovations, the list changes. A home that hasn't been touched in several years comes off — otherwise the label stops meaning anything.
