Positive: Location was perfect! We wanted a place where we could relax with reunited family. The living room was perfect for visiting. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and comfortable. Negative: We thought we were in a 4-bedroom suite; when we arrived, we discovered that we were in adjoining suites. It worked but was not what we hoped for.
This condo's location and view could not be better. This rental is 2 condos side by side. I felt like the furnishings, bedding and towels did not reflect accommodations charging 1,200 per night. Listings stated there was dining for 12 in each unit. There was a table that sat 6 and two bar stools at the kitchen counter and 2 additional chairs, but they did not fit around the table. The listing was also confusing about the bathrooms, is stated "bathtub, toilet and shower only". However there is no tub. The kitchen had mis-matched glasses, inadequate flatware (3 spoons) and plastic disposable utensils in the other unit. One of the TV was not working along with one of the washing machines. The building was also undergoing construction so there was constant noise during the day, At the time of booking I did not see the notice about construction, when I Iooked after coming home it was there several pages down in the listing not highlighted in any way. The building smoke alarm went off twice in one day for over 20 minutes at 2 am and 6 pm, the fire dept. arrived and determined they were false alarms. I contacted the host and they originally offered me 250 off of my 4,000 booking. They eventually refunded 572.50. They indicated they sent an email on 9/5 alerting me to the construction, which is did not receive however my cancellation dates was 9/3 and our arrive date was 9/8, even if we received the email not much time to make other plans, even if the refunded us.
My Sister & I stayed in #306 at Sand & Sea May 2026. The unit lived up to the photos... Clean, updated well appointed, great location, & the view spectacular. We really enjoyed the 2 recliners with throw blankets, & the lanai. Even though there was outside building maintenance construction going on it didn't disrupt our experience. We arrived early & were able to check in right away. The staff at Sand & Sea were kind & very accommodating. The communication from Cascadia team was unbelievable.... Always checking on us & quick to respond. They made us feel that they really cared. Thank you all for making sure our experience was positive & memorable. We hope to return to #306 again! 😎🌊🥂
