The chalet is beautiful and cozy, it was perfect for Thanksgiving with the family in a great location. The living room with the fireplace was the right place to gather.The Cascadia Getaways team were always checking on if everything was ok and very helpful when we needed it.We will definitely stay at the Snowflake chalet again.
After a "mishap" with a different booking company left us stranded on our check in day with 3 children, we were able to find and book with Cascadia so smoothly. Easy communication, inviting space, lots of little extras to help the stay be that much better (pans and cutting boards, extra blankets, coffee and creamer for the machine, etc) Would absolutely stay with them again.
My parents and I stayed at Snowflake Chalet for my birthday week and enjoyed kayaking the nearby lakes. The host was responsive, the kitchen was well-equipped, the dining area and living room were comfortable, and the stream beside the property added to the peaceful setting. A few things could be improved: the upstairs bedroom lacked ventilation (no opening windows), the upstairs bathroom fan made a loud high-pitched noise, and the shower would benefit from a taller, handheld showerhead. Bathroom doors creaked, a few outlets and a light switch didn’t work, and the living room lamps only worked with the switch when plugged into specific outlets. The lockbox was difficult to use, and the upstairs bedroom bed was short-sheeted on arrival. No coffee grinder was provided. The only major issue was loud neighbors across the street on July 8, with a party lasting until about 5 a.m., making sleep difficult. Thankfully, this only happened once. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Some cobwebs and dust that shouldn’t be there for a place that costs as much as it does. There was basically 0 cleaning supplies when we arrived but they responded promptly and brought by some cleaner.
Wonderful chalet in an incredible location.
Location is perfect! It’s our second time staying at this place . It’s an older place with rustic feel.We loved the wood fireplace! It was clean when we arrived. I would only ask the owner to get the grill ! That would make it so much easier to cook all the meals . Location is perfect!
Hard to beat for a winter location.
