Enjoy newly built luxury with Shorebird, one house off the Seaside Promenade. Walk to the end of the street and you're on the beach. Catch the ocean from the two balconies, cook together in the open kitchen, then settle in by one of two gas fireplaces. A primary en suite that will have you not wanting to leave. About this property
Main level: The living room, dining area and kitchen are one open space, so the cook is never cut off from everyone else. A wall of sliding glass doors opens onto the balcony, looking down the street to the Prom and ocean. Enjoy the gas fireplace for those Oregon rainy days or watch your shows on the large flatscreen or enjoy the books and games. The kitchen has an island with seating, a gas range, a French-door fridge, a dishwasher, a microwave and a coffee maker for family meals. There's also a half bath on the main level to save the steps.
Top floor, primary suite: King bed, gas fireplace, and a big picture window for the views. The bathroom has a freestanding soaking tub, a double vanity, a glass walk-in shower and a separate toilet room. Also on this floor: a den with a TV, a sofa, reading chairs and a pub table for puzzles, plus a private balcony with a view of the ocean.
Lower level: A bedroom suite with its own bathroom, and a kids' room with two twin beds and a hall bath with a walk-in shower. There's a bench and coat hooks by the entry for wet gear.
Laundry: Front-load washer and dryer, plus a utility sink for sandy gear.
The area
You're one house off the Promenade. The street runs right to it, and paths through the grasses take you to Seaside's wide beach, with Tillamook Head to the south. Shorebird is an easy 4 block walk north along the Prom to downtown Broadway.
A car is recommended to make the most out of your Seaside trip. Once you are at your rental, you can walk to Broadway for dining, shopping and fun. There are bus options to Seaside and we are happy to help you with that information.
