Pet Friendly Rentals

Pet-Friendly Vacation Rentals in Oregon: Some of the best trips are the ones where nobody has to stay home. Cascadia Getaways manages 45+ pet-friendly vacation rentals across Oregon — dog-friendly cabins at Mt. Hood, Government Camp, Welches and Rhododendron; oceanfront and beach-view condos in Seaside, Lincoln City, Newport and Neskowin; and walkable historic homes in McMinnville and Carlton, in the heart of Willamette Valley wine country. Most sit somewhere your dog would choose too: forest trails from the back door, a river to wade into, a fire pit, a hot tub for you and a warm floor for them. Book direct with a local team: We're an Oregon-owned company managing every one of these homes ourselves. That means when you ask whether the yard is really fenced, whether your senior dog can manage the stairs, or whether the trail behind the cabin is safe off-leash, you're asking someone who has stood in that yard. Traveling with three dogs, a puppy who isn't reliable yet, or a senior who can't do stairs? Message us before you book. We'd rather match you carefully than have you arrive and improvise.

This place was spacious, had a lovely backyard for a dog, and the location COULD NOT BE BEAT. We were so close to absolutely every restaurant, bar, and coffee shop on our to-do list, and we were a short drive from all the vineyards we wanted to visit!

Lovely, newly renovated space. We had a very comfortable stay. The room was spacious and clean. There is a full kitchen with everything you need. There is no front desk but you can contact the property through text message, with very quick responses. There is free parking on site. This resembles more a vacation rental stay rather than a typical motel.

Appreciated the quick response with trouble during check in. The home was clean. Ac was working. Not many things to do locally but things within an hour drive max. Truly enjoyed the home as the couch was comfortable, WiFi was great and didn’t really see any neighbors or have any issues. Was a peaceful stay would do it again!

Overall great property and was very comfortable for our family of 6. Clean, walking distance to the beach and over all great. Only surprise we had and we didn't read the listing closely enough was there's no AC. After opening the windows, it was clear that AC was not needed in the beginning of August.

I highly recommend staying at Sand and Sea. The location is fantastic. It is right in from of the promenade and the beach access. And it is only a block over from Broadway street which is great to walk around as well. There is also a bike rental place just around the corner which we used to rent a 4 person bike for our family to ride around the town and check out the area. Also, the staff are very friendly and welcoming and everything is made easy from checking in and out, parking, the pool. I would go again and will let others back in Calgary, Alberta, Canada about my stay.

Frequently asked questions

No. We're dog-friendly only — no cats at any of our Oregon homes. It's the question we're asked more than any other, and we'd rather you read it here than discover it after booking. Service animals are handled separately; contact us and we'll walk through it.

A pet fee applies per dog, per stay, paid before arrival, and it varies by home — $100 - $150 per dog for most homes and $40 per dog for the Mt Air Motel. Most homes cap at two dogs. Only registered dogs with the fee paid are permitted; an undisclosed dog carries a $500 charge. Traveling with three? Ask us — sometimes we can make it work.

Some do and some don't, and we're specific about which. A handful have genuinely enclosed yards — from a town backyard in McMinnville to 1.5 fenced acres at Mount Hood Village. Many others have open yards where your dog will need a leash, and we say so on the listing rather than leaving you to find out in the dark. If a fence is what decides your trip, start with our Fenced Yard Rentals.

Most Oregon beaches welcome leashed dogs, which is one of the great things about a coast trip here. Our Oregon Coast rentals in Seaside, Lincoln City, Neskowin, Newport and Tillamook put you within walking distance of sand for most of them.
