Seaside

Oregon's original beach resort town, Seaside has been welcoming visitors to its wide, sandy shores for well over a century — and it's easy to see why. The iconic two-mile beachfront Promenade invites leisurely strolls with the Pacific Ocean as your backdrop, while the lively downtown is packed with shops, arcades, restaurants, and the beloved Seaside Aquarium. Whether you're building sandcastles with the kids, surfing at "The Cove," or browsing the historic turnaround at the end of the Lewis & Clark Trail, Seaside delivers that classic, carefree Oregon Coast experience that keeps generations of visitors coming back.

Place was clean beds are comfortable and the location and views from the unit are fabulous. Check in process is easy and communication was easy. The place appears to have had some updates performed but could still use some more. Some items are a bit dated. However if you are looking for beachfront and convenience this place is a great option.

What a beautiful, cozy, and clean air bnb this was. We got it last second before the huge volleyball tournament in seaside. The view was so cool with the balcony. It was right next to the Main Street in seaside. The workers at the front desk were so friendly. They were cracking jokes and in such a good mood. Perfect for what you need when you visit Seaside:)

Great location and the common area was beautiful and open. Loved the floor to ceiling windows. Beds were comfortable and clean. Bathrooms are cool and from the seventies. One gold and one avocado green. Got a giggle out of them. Everything worked and great water pressure.

Frequently asked questions

Seaside hosts events year-round: the Wednesday Seaside Farmers Market, the summer Beach Discovery Program at the Seaside Aquarium, First Saturday Art Walks, and seasonal festivals, with more concerts and theater in nearby Astoria and Cannon Beach. Check our weekend events guide here. Booking a stay at The Promenade or a Sand & Sea condo keeps you within walking distance of downtown and the beach.

For direct beach access, choose an oceanfront condo along the Promenade. The Sand & Sea Condos and The Promenade building sits right on the sand, two blocks from downtown, and Ocean Front rentals face the water directly. For a larger group, Elk Ridge is an oceanfront home with a hot tub.

Yes. Cascadia Getaways offers pet-friendly rentals in Seaside, including dog-friendly Sand & Sea condos such as the Hang 10 Hideaway and the Driftwood. Browse all pet-friendly options for more dog-welcome homes across Seaside and the wider Oregon Coast.

For families, book a multi-bedroom home or connecting condos. Elk Ridge sleeps 10 and has a hot tub, while Blue Heron and Gearhart Getaway are a four-bedroom homes with a chef's kitchen. Families who want a pool can choose among the Seaside beachfront condos with a pool for easy swimming after the beach.

The Sand & Sea Condos and The Promenade are on or steps from the two-mile Promenade and two blocks from Broadway's shops and restaurants. This central location means you can walk to most Seaside events, the Seaside Aquarium, and the beach.

No, and on the north Oregon Coast it's genuinely rarely needed — the ocean breeze does the work and even August evenings cool off fast. The units have floor-to-ceiling windows built exactly for that. If you run hot or you're coming during a heat spell, tell us and we'll point you to the units that catch the most air.

Two elevators serve the Sand & Sea Condos and one elevator serves The Promenade. Our homes do not have elevators, just the condos.

Designated guest parking on site at the condo buildings, and it's usually limited to one to two vehicles per unit. Honestly, you probably won't need the car once you arrive: the Prom, the beach, Broadway and downtown are all walkable from the door. You'll want it for Cannon Beach, Astoria and exploring up and down the coast.

Several of our Seaside units are dog-friendly, and the beach here is excellent for it — miles of open sand and leashed dogs welcome in both directions. We're dog-friendly, not pet-friendly: no cats at any of our properties. A fee applies per dog per stay and most units cap at two. Check the individual listing, as not every unit in the building accepts dogs.

Seaside is a lively town in summer and a genuinely quiet one the rest of the year. In the condo buildings you'll hear the ocean more than anything else. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM at all our properties. If you're coming over the Fourth of July or a tournament weekend and want somewhere calmer, tell us — we manage homes up and down the coast and can point you somewhere quieter.

This is the Oregon Coast, so plan for it and you'll never be disappointed. Broadway has the arcade, the Seaside Aquarium, a cinema, and enough taffy and chowder to fill an afternoon. The Prom is a good walk in a rain shell. Cannon Beach is 15 minutes south, Astoria's Columbia River Maritime Museum 30 minutes north. And there is a specific pleasure in watching a storm hit the beach from behind floor-to-ceiling glass with the heat on.

Summer is warmest and busiest, and the big weekends. The beach volleyball tournament and the Hood to Coast finish, both in August — book out a year ahead. Spring and autumn are our favorites: mild, uncrowded, and storm-watching season starting. Winter is quiet, dramatic and the best value of the year. Pack layers whenever you come.

Cancellation is strict, and the window varies by unit — free cancellation runs from 5 to 14 days before check-in for our Seaside properties. After that the booking is non-refundable. The exact window is on each listing. Travel insurance is worth considering for a trip you might need to move.

50% is due at booking, and the remaining 50% is due 30 days before check-in. Booking inside 30 days? The full amount is due at booking. These terms are strict and they're the same at every home we manage. Booking direct saves you the 15–20% in service fees the third-party platforms add.
