Sand & Sea Condos vacation rental reviews from Cascadia Getaways

Frequently asked questions
Not during summer 2026, but Yes, and we'd rather you hear it from us than from a review. The building is undergoing essential exterior structural repairs on select sections — with a summer pause. Construction is to resume end of September through end of 2026 to bring us a better Sand & Sea. Expect visible activity and some daytime noise; evenings and the beach are unaffected.
Two serve the building and a Key Fob is needed to activate the elevators after hours for everyone's safety.
Higher is better for the view — the top-floor units take in the whole sweep of coastline. For south facing units the 5th and 6th floor allow views over neighboring buildings. Lower floors put you closer to the pool and the sand and mean less elevator dependency. But each condo has its own design, amenities and furnishing levels to weight.
No. The units have floor-to-ceiling windows and the ocean breeze does the work — on the north Oregon Coast that's genuinely enough, even in August. If you run hot, the front desk can make fans available.
A shared indoor heated pool and sauna serve the building and are included with your stay. Laundry varies by unit — some have a washer and dryer in-unit, some don't, and the listing says which. None of the one bedroom units have a washer or dryer. All dryers are ventless and may take longer to dry than your used to. Wifi and heating throughout. A damage waiver is included with your reservation, covering accidental damage if you tell us before checkout.
Some units accept dogs, not all of them — check the individual listing before booking. Where dogs are welcome: a fee applies per dog per stay, most cap at two, and cats are not permitted at any of our properties. An undisclosed dog carries a $500 charge. The beach across the Prom is excellent for dogs, leashed, in both directions.
Designated guest parking on site, usually one vehicle per unit during construction otherwise two vehicles per unit. You won't need it much: the Prom, the beach and downtown Seaside are all walkable.
No — not in the unit, not on the balcony, not anywhere on the property. That includes cigarettes, cannabis, vapes and e-cigarettes. These are HOA rules and condo owners will notify the team if they see balcony smoking. A $250 charge applies to any violation. We're strict about it because smoke moves between units in a shared building.
Usually a sofa bed or a murphy bed in the living room alongside the bedrooms. Every listing has a "Where you'll sleep" section showing each room and its bed, so the arithmetic is there — but the sofa bed is easy to skim past. If it still doesn't add up, ask and we'll walk you through it room by room.
Cancellation is strict: free cancellation up to 5 days before check-in for most units here, then non-refundable. We also offer travel insurance through Faye if you need more flexibility.
0% is due at booking, and the remaining 50% is due 30 days before check-in. Booking inside 30 days? The full amount is due at booking. These terms are strict and they're the same at every home we manage. Booking direct saves you the 15–20% in service fees the third-party platforms add.
